We're homeowners!

Hey guys! I know I've been missing in action, but it's for good reason. We bought our first home in sunny San Diego! It feels amazing to be homeowners. Our home is cozy filled with farmhouse decor. I draw inspiration from Chip and Joanna Gaines. To say I'm obsessed with their work is an understatement. I mean, who doesn't love their style?

Needless to say it's been a bit hectic around here. I want to share some random photos I've taken in my new home. Many are of yummy dishes I have made, please refrain from drooling :-)

Here's to new adventures!

Sidney & Ludy's 40th Wedding Anniversary | Walnut Creek, CA

This year my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary! My dad and I managed to plan a surprise party for my mom, and boy was she surprised. It's hard for my dad and I to keep a secret from her, so you can imagine how difficult it was to keep this a secret for five months!

As they entered the gymnasium, the look on my mom's face was priceless. My dad was a little tearful too (sorry dad I had to tell). Of course we had plenty of entertainment from singing to dancing. Oh and the food was amazing! Times like these are priceless and create memories that last a lifetime.

These veterans of love have taught me that patience, trust, faith and lots of laughter are key to a happy marriage. It would be a true blessing to be half as happy and healthy as my parents are when I celebrate my 40th wedding anniversary. Here's to many more years of happiness together, cheers!

My One Year Wedding Anniversary

I can't believe it's been one year since I married my best friend on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii. We had an intimate ceremony on Makapu'u beach in Oahu. It could not have been more perfect. Light showers to bless us with good fortune, two beautiful rainbows in the sky, and our loving family by our side. It was an amazing day.

Happy anniversary wife, here's to many more!
